ADELE : The Heartbreak Queen With Golden Voice

adele

“Hello, it’s me. I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet. To go over everything. They say that time’s supposed to heal ya, but I ain’t done much healing…”

Those words got me. ‘Hello’ is the track title recently released by the adorable songstress. Adele became famous for her never ending break-up but creative compositions . As a matter of fact, some set of people believed that her break-up experience was a mana from God to open up new horizons for her. My interest in her didn’t start a long time ago not until recently when a colleague of mine wouldn’t let me have peace at work. He went on praising her to high heavens for her pitch perfect and mastery. I suspect he must be going through a strong heartbreak, lol. So I buldged and listened to a few of her tracks and it was awesome. Nice voice, cool lyrics, deep meaning, strong emotions, lovely beat … You name it.

Adele is not one for being pigeonholed. She has broken through the music industry at a relatively young age, particularly owing it to her distinctive voice. She was born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins on May 5, 1988 in Enfield,
North London. She came from a non-musical family but a very supportive one. Adele said that her mother used to set up a stage show for her in their own home with Adele being the performer and her mother’s friends being the audience. Funny right !

Her major selling point is her charming soul and the distinct ‘color’ of her voice. Even though she started out as a wannabe writer, she got her big break in 2006 when she released ‘hometown glory’ that was only available on 7inch vinyl format. In 2008 she released ’19’ which topped the chart for weeks. It was such a hit. Subsequent hits like ‘chasing pavement’ won her two grammies in 2009 (Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance) and Two years later, she dropped a second album ” 21″ on January 19 in the U.K. “I’m very excited, nervous, eager, anxious but chuffed to announce my new album! It’s taken a while and it knocked me for six when writing it,” she said of the new release.

I could go on and on…on how deep I have fallen in love with her style and unique voice. The emotions and feelings she injects to her music is applauding. Maybe she is been too much of heartbreaks (read about her heartbreaks )but her songs brings this nostalgic feeling of the good times, the memories, the happy moments we once had with our beloved. Her lyrics are definitive and well arranged. ‘Hello’ is one hell of a missing puzzle. ‘Someone to love’ reminds me of someone special. ‘Fire in the rain’ is just the perfect sleeping medicine for me these days. Don’t get it twisted guys, am not heartbroken, just a normal guy in love with a passionate song. That’s all.

LOL ! Yea great vocalist does exist aplenty..

She is quite cool and a bit unconventional. Sometimes I think her music reflects her mood and sometimes it seems she’s expressing someone else’s burden.

For all its worth, “whoever broke adele’s heart made her a star” ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜›
